SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

 

The launch of ‘Beyond Abide’ Scholarship Scheme would be one more feather in our cap, along with our various other Abide projects! 

 

What we do?

 

Our school is up to upper primary, hence when students finish their class VII and leave us, we were very burdened to see good students who score very excellent marks land up in substandard schools or many just perish and vanish.  But this year 2019, God enabled us to launch the above program, where good students are awarded the above ‘BEYOND ABIDE’ Scholarship where we pay their one year tuition fees and also buy them text and note books. The responsibility of putting them in a nice school also is our responsibility. This scholarship is awarded purely on merit basis and this year two students were selected: Hepsibah, daughter of auto driver and Jacob, son of a pastor.

How we do?

 

We have made an agreement with a Private English medium school and we stand as guardians for the selected students for the entire academic year; however, the students have to prove their merit the follow year so that the scholarship is renewed.  By doing so, the students do not take the scholarship for granted but the onus to study hard and maintain the marks rests on their shoulders.

 

Future plans

 

In future we plan to help good, hard working students even outside our Abide School if they fit into the rules of the scheme. 

 

We cannot do magic to raise the economy level of the society without doing anything concrete, hence EDUCATION plays a key role in changing the life of an individual.  Poverty will be eradicated when education is offered to the society, you can start with ‘one’ and let the chain continue!
